Relay for Life is a unique event that represents 24 hours in the life of a cancer patient. Relay for Life celebrates and honors the people who are fighting the battle with cancer now, those who have WON their fight, those who have lost their battle with cancer and the caregivers who support them. It is a message of hope for a brighter future- a future without cancer! Proceeds from this event will be used to help the American Cancer Society raise cancer awareness, prevention, detection and support cancer research. Many of the programs that the ACS sponsors stay right here in our local community such as rides to treatments, breast and cervical cancer early detection programs, smoking cessation programs, Hope Lodge, Camp Hope, and many, many more… Click Here to Learn More

Tom-Dixon-BandThe Natalie Turgeon band pairs up with The Tome Dixon Band to rock The Yard for a benefit concert to help Mckenzie Low, an 11 year old girl from Hudson, NH that has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. Mckenzie has started treatments to help reduce the size of the tumor and funds are needed to cover the family’s rising medical bills. Ron Doucet owner of The Yard has graciously volunteered his venue for the concert that is sceduledfor January 20th 2013. Doors open at 12pm.

New Year’s Eve

sarahs1Sarah’s Ride – As a gifted and talented person, Natalie believes that it is important to support and raise awareness for the various charities in her community. Sarah Fox, a firefigher, lost her battle to cancer in 2011. Through her battle she continued to serve as a firefighter in her community. Sarah’s Ride, hosted by Seacoast Harley Davidson, is an annual motorcycle ride in which the proceeds and donations are used to support young women who are interested in serving their community through the fire department.
